Travel and Climate

This summer Sophia and I were planning to travel to South Korea, but then we realized that it will be pretty hot there. According to Weatherspark, Seoul has a 91% chance of being "muggy, oppressive, or miserable" on August days. So we went to Iceland instead, which was a little chilly.
In order to plan for vacation weather in the future, I analyzed data from WorldClim to produce maps showing what places in the world are too hot or too cold for Sophia, based on wind chill and heat index. I decided to share them and here are the results. Code is on github.
